Experienced optometrists, availability of quality ophthalmic lenses and a plethora of international eyewear brands make us one of the most preferred optical outlets in the region.

All our showrooms are equipped with computerized ophthalmic devices on par with international standards. Bringing together matchless experience and expertise, Yateem Optician provides world-class eye care services.

Yateem Optician is accredited by all major insurance companies. We provide free after-sale services for all spectacles and sunglasses purchased, according to the stipulated conditions. Our products also carry one year warrantee against manufacturing defects as per supplier policies. Further, we ensure timely delivery on all orders. The online facility to renew the Dubai Driving License (RTA) is also available at all our outlets.

History

Addressing the eye care needs of the Middle East for over a century now

Founded in 1910 in Bahrain by the Late Mr. Ahmed Ali Yateem, Yateem Optician is the 1st Optical Establishment and the only one which can claim a century old existence in the Middle East.

Today, under the dynamic leadership of the present Chairman, Mr. Abdulla Ali Yateem, supported by his sons – Mr. Ali Abdulla Yateem, Mr. Ahmed Abdulla Yateem, Mr. Nasser Abdulla Yateem, Mr. Khalid Abdulla Yateem and Mr. Hisham Abdulla Yateem, Yateem Optician has grown as a high end Optical Fashion and Luxury retail chain with 82 exclusive outlets, distribution centre, lens manufacturing unit, hearing aid centre and has also forayed into the real estate business. Yateem has spread its wings all over the G.C.C and has its presence in U.A.E, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman. 1971 was a major year in the history of Yateem Optician. Mr. Nasser Abdulla Yateem who had joined the business by that time, ventured out to tap the U.A.E market and opened the first retail optical showroom in Abu Dhabi and the rest as they say, is history.

In 1991, Mr Ali Abdulla Yateem, the present Vice Chairman opened Yaco Trading – the wholesale division of Yateem Group to cater to the surging demand of disposable contact lenses, designer sunglasses and frames. He entered into an agreement with Johnson & Johnson – Global leader in the manufacturing and marketing of Acuvue contact lenses. Apart from this, Yaco Trading distributes many fashion luxury designer sunglasses and frames.

Mr. Khalid Yateem added strength to the group by establishing Yateem Hearing Aid Centre as well as Yateem Real Estate which has properties all over the G.C.C.

Yateem Hearing Care Center was established in United Arab Emirates in 1988 under the leadership of the Yateem board and management.

A year following the launch of YHCC in U.A.E., its services were extended to Bahrain and Qatar to provide excellent professional services to hearing impaired patients in that region. Today YHCC has got its presence in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al-Ain too.

Yateem Hearing Care Centers are well equipped, with complete facility for Hearing Evaluation along with highly qualified and trained personnel to provide professional care services to patients.

YHCC has acquired the latest technology in ear mold processing, ITE, CCA, and CIC shell making from Germany, as per industry standards. YHCC has a wide range of the best digital hearing aid from the best manufacturers in the world. A complete range of Speech Training Equipment, Individual FM System, Infrared FM System and Group Wireless FM System are some facilities we offer.

  • Clinic diagnostic services:

    At Yateem Hearing Care Centre, we have a complete range of services to identify the degree and type of hearing disorders. These services include hearing screening, diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid selection and fitting, various diagnostic procedures i.e. tympanogram, and stinger and speech tests.

  • Hearing aid dispensing and fitting:

    We meticulously select hearing aid to suit patient requirements. The Audiogram, Beta, and Oea tests help in proper selection and fitting of hearing aid. Appropriate hearing aid suggestions call for precise test results. And that's exactly what we offer.

  • Hearing aid ear mould:

    We process and make all types of ear-moulds. From hard silicon and soft silicon, to ear plug for industrial use and water precaution; we have moulds that suit different ear configurations.

  • Hearing aid repair and service:

    Our services do not end with providing the perfect remedies for the impairment diagnosed. We also provide repairing services for the hearing aid provided.
